An appointment system is in place. Please book in advance for doctors appointment's, if you ring on the day you will be offered an advanced nurse practitioner or our Physicians Associate firstly. Anything they cannot deal with will be passed over to the Duty Doctor.

We have a nurse practitioner and a Physicians Associate who can see patients with illnesses and injuries and provide treatment and advice.

Advanced Nurse Practitioners and Physicians Associates can treat:

Minor Illness, e.g. ear pain/discharge, acute cough, cold and flu symptoms, new onset of throat/mouth symptoms (tonsillitis, thrush, etc), new onset of eye symptoms, e.g. conjunctivitis, cystitis/new urinary symptoms, acute wound infections/cellulitis, viral illness, sinusitis, new onset dizziness/vertigo, new onset of abdominal pain, new onset of headache, mild anxiety/depression

Minor Ailment, e.g. hay fever, insect bites and stings, rashes, including impetigo and scabies, eczema/dermatitis (acute), fungal skin infections, allergies, e.g. rashes, hay fever, etc., emergency contraception, worms, headlice, acute breast symptoms, nail infections, diarrhoea and vomiting, acute constipation, nappy rash

Minor Injury, e.g. acute back pain, any minor injury to limbs, neck pain (new onset), wounds, animal/human bites, minor cuts and abrasions, minor burns and scalds, including sunburn, minor head injury (no loss of consciousness)

Please note Advanced Nurse Practitioners cannot see pregnant ladies and cannot give sick notes.

In addition to the practice's normal opening hours and the additional surgery opening times as stated above, you can also book an appointment to see a local clinician in the evenings or on Saturday and Sunday at locations across South Worcestershire. GP practices are working together to provide extended access appointment to our patients. This means that your extended access appointment may be with a different GP, nurse or based in a different location or practice that you are used to, and some of these appointments are telephone only. These appointments are pre-bookable by contacting the surgery during opening times - when calling please ask for an extended access appointment and our receptionists will help you to find a convenient appointment. 

01/04/2019 - NHS England have stated that all patients must have access to book and cancel extended hour appointments between the hours of 18:30 – 20:00 Monday to Friday and 08:00 – 12:00 Saturday and Sunday. They have set up a separate telephone line to enable patients to book or cancel these appointments within these hours. The Reception staff based at the Worcester hub will receive the incoming calls and will have the ability to book patients into one of the five hubs, depending on availability and whether it is appropriate. Please use the telephone number 01905 789061 to book an appointment direct . This number will only be available for patients to use during evening and weekend extended hours, during core hours  patients will be required to contact their own practice.

The surgery is suitable for  patients confined to wheelchairs.
